During her appearance on Tabish Hashmi’s show Hasna Mana Hai, Rabab shared that she had been receiving around 200 messages daily from one particular account on Instagram. Rabab explained, “One day, I had a break from shooting and was at home. Suddenly, the doorbell rang, and when I opened the door, a man and woman were standing there, who had come all the way from interior Sindh. They were holding a basket full of gifts. They insisted that we have come from far and that I must accept the gifts.” Here is what she said:
Despite her polite acceptance of the gifts, the couple didn’t leave. Rabab told the story, saying, “They kept standing outside my house, and I had to ask them to take the gifts back. I explained that it wasn’t appropriate to visit someone’s home unannounced. However, the messages kept coming, and the whole experience felt very strange.”
