In 2023, Samar gained widespread attention with his remarkable performance in the television series Mein Kahani Hun, which aired on Express TV. His acting prowess continued to shine in the same year, as he played the lead role of ‘Fakhir’ in the drama Mayi Ri on ARY Digital. Alongside actress Aina Asif, Samar captivated audiences with his compelling portrayal of a complex character. Notably, Samar also composed the title track for the series, demonstrating his musical talents in addition to his acting.

Continuing to expand his horizons, Samar Jafri released his music video Kaash on 30th January 2024, featuring the collaboration with Raamis, showcasing his growth as a musician and his ability to create music that resonates with his audience. Samar also made his mark in the television series Hum Dono on Hum TV in 2024, further solidifying his versatility as an actor.
