Jahanzeb Qamar

In the year 2000, Jahanzeb Qamar began his professional journey as a playwright at the PTV Lahore Center after earning a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Punjab University. Despite his technical background, Qamar’s passion for storytelling led him to pursue a creative career in writing. His talent for crafting meaningful and engaging narratives quickly gained recognition, allowing him to make significant contributions to the field of television drama.

Over the years, Qamar’s commitment to producing high-quality content has been evident in his projects. Currently, he is working on Pakistan’s first-ever children’s drama serial, Roshan Rastay, which airs on PTV Home. This groundbreaking series focuses on educating and inspiring young viewers, showcasing Qamar’s dedication to creating impactful and positive content for the next generation.

In addition to his work in the media industry, Jahanzeb Qamar has also built a successful academic career. He is currently serving as the principal of Misali Ravian College in Sargodha, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of young minds.

Alongside his professional endeavors, Qamar pursued further education, completing a master’s degree in Urdu literature.
