Following this success, he embarked on his next major project, Bol, a high-budget film featuring a stellar cast, including Atif Aslam, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick, and Iman Ali. Bol premiered on 24 June 2011, addressing critical social issues such as gender discrimination and women’s rights in Pakistani society. The film received both commercial success and critical acclaim.
In 2017, Shoaib Mansoor released his fourth film, Verna, starring Mahira Khan in the lead role. The film, released by Hum Films on 17 November 2017, highlighted issues of sexual violence and power dynamics. Though it sparked controversy, Verna reaffirmed Mansoor’s commitment to socially relevant storytelling.
