Javed Sheikh

Jawed Sheikh has continued to appear in television series in Pakistan and recently appeared in many hit films in Pakistan such as Na Maloom Afraad (2014), Bin Roye (2015), Wrong No. (2015), Jawani Phir Nahi Ani (2015), Mehrunisa V Lub U (2017) and Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017). He has occasionally returned to Bollywood as well appearing with Ranbir Kapoor in the Bollywood film Tamasha (2014) and with his daughter Momal Sheikh in Happy Bhaag Jayegi (2016).

In 2018, Javed Sheikh not only directed but also acted in the film Wujood. This film marked his debut as a director in the Pakistani film industry. It was a thriller that garnered attention for its unique storyline and strong performances. In the movie, Javed Sheikh played a central role, showcasing his versatility as both an actor and director.

Also in 2018, Javed Sheikh appeared in the successful comedy film Saat Din Mohabbat In. In this film, he played the quirky role of a ghost named Dwarka Prasad. His performance added to the film’s comedic charm, and the movie, starring Mahira Khan and Sheheryar Munawar, was well-received by audiences for its light-hearted and fun atmosphere.

One of his most hugely successful releases was the action-comedy film Teefa in Trouble (2018). Directed by Ahsan Rahim, this film starred Ali Zafar and Maya Ali. Javed Sheikh’s role in the film was a notable part of the success, with the movie being praised for its exciting action sequences, humor, and vibrant performances. The film went on to become a significant hit, further solidifying Javed Sheikh’s place as one of the most respected actors in the Pakistani film industry.
